I did a photo shoot with my son Brantley a couple of weekends ago and was able to capture some fun Easter/Spring themed photos. It is so fun to be able to document these precious memories and watch him as he continues to change so much each & everyday! I was able to use one of the new banners I made, which turned out great! You can see it above with Brantley & the yellow chair. I also made this fun card, which we have printed & plan to give to friends and family.

Here is a recap in pictures from this week...Some of these photos were taken for my final week of  the photo class I was taking. The final week we were working on composition to compile everything we learned in the previous 3 weeks. While taking some pictures for this assignment, I was able to capture some precious moments as well! As I mentioned last week, my son Brantley was sick & had to use a nebulizer. I was trying to practice some of the skills I learned and capture the vapor while he was doing a nebulizer treatment. This was not an easy task considering his hatred for the machine and due to the fact that he never wants to sit still anymore! Brantley also played in the snow for the first time, which he really seemed to enjoy! We also managed to finally capture my husband Gordie's idea for a shot with the boys in their cowboy boots. I have edited a special version of this shot above just for him that showcases our love for country music and our favorite country music singer, Eric Church! The other photos capture Brantley just being Brantley! He is a fun-loving little man who feeds for attention and loves to showcase his personality in every way, shape, or form. I have also posted a creative shot I took using Brantley's diapers. This was also a photo I used for my final week assignment, but it was a meaningful shot for me because it showcases the life of a cloth-diapering mommy!!

If you are viewing my page, you have probably noticed something strange is going on with the background...I am working to resolve this technical issue, so hopefully it is resolved soon! On a positive note, I got a new logo which you can see at the top of the page. Hope you like it!!

As I said in the previous post, it has been a very busy week for us! Here are some photos from last week's assignment focusing on using natural light. While getting some pictures for the class, I was also able to capture my little Chunky Monkey doing what he does best: EATING!! He sure does love his food! He sure is one happy camper when he is eating/drinking! Picture #4 is the reaction we get when the food/drink is gone!! If you look carefully, you can even see the cheerio I managed to capture mid-bite in photo #2. Love my little Chunky Monkey!!

This week has been a little busy...Brantley turned 8 months old on February 26th, boy did that come fast!! My little man is sure growing up! He has an amazing personality already & you can see some of this reflected in these pictures. He was a little upset in a few photos and part of this was due to the fact that he is a bit sick, but he was also sick of mommy taking pictures as well!! Unfortunately, the little guy took his first trip to the Emergency Room on this day too. He was given a diagnosis of having acute bronchiolitis and/or croup and was given a steroid & nebulizer treatment. We are now doing nebulizer treatments at home every 4 hours until the chest cough & wheezing subside. He is doing much better already! At 8 months Brantley has no interest in crawling, he loves to stand and/or walk every second he gets a chance, he is a little rolie polie and rolls around the room to get to where he wants to be, he has an obsession with food/formula,  he loves giving kisses, high fives, & waving and saying "ma-ma & da-da"!!
